The GReen Tent Matakana

The Green Tent is a spacious Mongolian style yurt which has been thoughtfully designed to provide chic, completely self-contained, access friendly luxury accommodation. The yurt sits in a stunning rural location just a few minutes from vibrant Matakana.

There’s a luxurious King Size bed plus bunk beds hidden behind a screen. We have WiFi and a smart TV for your technology needs and air-conditioning to ensure blissfully comfortable summer evenings & cosy winter nights.

 A generous covered deck links your locally crafted kitchen with a small fridge/freezer, microwave, hot plate, kettle, toaster and coffee machine plus your stylish bathroom. An outdoor bath, festoon lights and a campfire add the extra touches for an unforgettable escape.

Luxury linen and towels, bath robes, Matakana Botanical toiletries, shampoo and conditioner are provided for your convenience during your stay.

You will also enjoy a complimentary selection of teas, a coffee pod machine, milk, granola and yoghurt. Local beer and wine, Matakana Daily Organics Kombucha, sparkling water and other treats.

Tepee - Matakana

Our off-grid tepee glamping tents are fitted out with quality beds, duvets and pillows, cotton linen, shower towels and fairy lights. Our shared bathroom facilities, with camping toilet and shower, are only steps away from your tepee. 

Each tepee has it's own private balcony with deck chairs, and guests have access to our shared outdoor space with fire pit, lounge chairs and picnic table.
