Breathe, Move and BE.

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese health care system which combines gentle physical movements, breathing techniques and focused intentions, to cultivate and move Qi (life force or vital energy) throughout the body.

Together, the exercises promote self-healing and health maintenance through relaxation, healthy breathing, good posture and meditation.

The morning classes are based on the Elemental Qi Gong series. An easy, gentle form of exercise that will keep you agile, flexible and in the flow of life. Encourage healthy qi flow throughout the body, leading to improved or enhanced health, the maintenance of good health and the healing of illness. A meditative body-mind class that encourages connection between the body-mind and a deeper connection to self.

Suitable for all fitness levels, these classes are for anyone looking for a simple practice to increase energy and sense of wellbeing.

Brooke’s class: Join Brooke for a nourishing qigong practice to begin your day! Each class is designed intuitively to meet the energy and needs of the moment. In this class you will be guided through elemental forms that support deeper connection to your body, heart, breath and spirit. Through a combination of meditation, movement and juicy rest, you will leave the class feeling ready to meet your day with beautiful energy. See you there!

Ceremony is about coming together with an intention and purpose - we gather to rest from the outside world and tune in with who and how we are. Cacao enhances our receptivity to the magic held within ourselves. She is a soft yet powerful plant-teacher, helping us open our hearts, which aids us to approach life through a lens of compassion and joy. The best way to know what cacao can offer you is to experience it yourself. She supports us wherever we are in life, however we are feeling, and is a safe experience for all.

A beautiful way to spend a Tuesday evening, as we sit in circle with this delicious plant medicine, in meditation with our breath and with each other. Because it's always better with chocolate!

 

Shin Yoga

Drawing on the developmental postures of Shin Somatics, Skinner Releasing principles and somatic practice these classes focus on opening and lengthening the body and quietening the mind. Based on the founding principle of Yoga – to create balance - we begin with balancing the nervous system and endocrine system, using asanas and pranayama inspired for healing and inner reflection. Help manage stress, learn to wind down and create a space to just be in your body.  This is a transformative practice. Also suitable for those new to yoga, recovering from illness or injury, those in the later stages of the life cycle, or those in HOLIDAY MODE, also helpful for post-natal mums. Shin Yoga will move gently through the postures with a focus on healing, restoration and revitalization.

A deep form of somatic embodiment practice that resonates with rest, rejuvenation, release and BEING. Willa gently guides you through embodiment practices resembling yoga, gentle movement, breath and flow. You will feel embraced, held and supported on your journey as we explore opening, enlivening and unfolding.

 

Personal yoga classes offer people the opportunity to align the body, mind and emotions in a private space with undivided guidance and teaching. Regardless if you are a complete beginner or wanting to move deeper into your personal practice, private classes offer a space for you to do so at the level appropriate for your health and physical ability. There is plenty of opportunity for questions, explanations of practices taught and the space to go over anything that you may be having difficulty with in classes or your own practice. The class can be dynamic and flowing; gentle and restorative, or a mixture of both. You may set the pace and direction of the class according to how you feel on the day. Our teachers will guide you through a practice that includes postures, breathing and deep relaxation or meditation to facilitate openness and total wellbeing of body, mind and spirit. For those who are new to yoga, private classes are a wonderful way to learn yoga practices at your own pace in a private peaceful space where the teacher is there just for you.
