Changing Minds Arts forum

For the first time the Titirangi Festival will partner with mental health organisation ‘Changing Minds’ and the Soul centre to host a forum entitled

“Finding the balance…healthy perspectives on working in the Arts in NZ”.

We will have a panel of around 6 from various areas of the Arts to answer questions around their own journeys working in the Arts sector and dealing with the stresses and strains attached to this. We will look at what solutions people have discovered and discuss what avenues are available to people when they need assistance.

This is a collaboration between Titirangi Festival, Soul centre and Changing Minds and is designed as a solutions based discussion which we hope will foster a sense of connection for people working in creative areas within our community.

The discussion will be accompanied by performance pieces expressing some ideas around creativity and well-being.

Light refreshments will be served during the half time break.



We will be promoting the event on Eventbrite, Facebook and through our networks, asking the audience to send their questions 2 weeks before the event. The event is likely to be recorded to video for use on our website and Social media. We would love people to attend, and perhaps contribute to the discussion.
