Welcome to the CHALICE OF THE SUN - celebration of the Summer Solstice: Cacao Ceremony + reflection, Deep Dancing, shaking out the old and embracing the new, followed by slow and low deeply replenishing somatic yoga and a long drifting nidra. To finish the day we take a dip if you dare in the beautiful ocean a stones throw away. and finish the day with a delicious and nutritous vegetarian feast made with love by the beautiful vegetarian chef Tom Gabites. We gather to celebrate the longest day of light of the year, Summer Solstice, the dance between light and shadow, the celebration of the fullness of the sun and the magic that happens when we gather, hold space and celebrate together on these sacred dates.
Solstice comes from the Latin solstitium, meaning “sun stands still”, the longest day of light in summer, and the shortest in winter.
It is a moment to pause, reflect, and return to your breath and own rhythm before the end of the year.

WILHEMEENA ISABELLA MONROE
Wilhemeena is an international leader in wellness facilitation and teacher of the healing and sacred arts and has been practicing and teaching for over three decades. She is a dancer, an artist and poet.
Working with many sacred traditions, Wilhemeena has developed a kete (basket) of knowledge that stems from Euro-nordic, Taoist, Ayurvedic, Mayan, Aztec, Andean and Pacific and multi-nesian lineages - helping people heal and inspiring them to live their best lives - returning us back to the sacred parts of ourselves. She facilitates personal ceremony + healing, working one-on-one with individuals as well as group facilitation, trainings, retreats and online programs.
As a social entreprenuer she founded The SOUL CENTRE, and directed and managed it’s large venue in Titirangi for over fifteen years before she pivoted online (during the pandemic years), recently she has opened a new space 45 mins North of Auckland, in the seaside town of Omaha, and runs her practice, trainings and studio there.
She also founded ELEMENTAL ALCHEMY - an energy healing and qi gong training programme, and SOUL + SOMA a somatic and shamanic life training program as well as many online programmes and wellness products.
She has created numerous ways for people to find freedom and healing in their lives.
