The struggle between dark and light is momentarily paused during the upcoming autumn equinox as they share the same time across the world.
Celebrate this balance of day and night by balancing your body and mind in our limited yoga and meditation series with our good buddies at the Auckland Museum and our beautiful SOUL CENTRE teacher Carissa Hine. All are welcome, as we start the day with a gentle and uplifting yoga class to welcome the rising sun under the Museum's roof-top dome, followed by a meditation session to uplift the spirits and inspire more light in our lives.
Carissa Hine is an experienced yoga teacher who has taught community yoga classes around Auckland for the past 18 years, including at SOUL Centre in the studio and in the corporate program. Carissa trained in a traditional Hatha style yoga and more recently in Tantric Hatha. Her classes encompass mindful breathwork with a mix of flowing and held postures to awaken your body and stabilise your mind.
March sunrise classes at the museum will be gentle and mindful, suitable for all levels. We will honor the solar cycle and explore expanding our energy to ignite our innate luminosity and divinity.
After the yoga, you can take in the 360-degree views from this stunning venue.
Combine your class pass with a discounted 8.30AM Secrets of Stonehenge session. Entry to the exhibition is free for Members.
