SOUND HEALING LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATE
3-day intensive training.
In this Level 1 Certification Training, you will learn the fundamental principles of Sound-Based Therapies that can be implemented in your current practice/teaching (bodywork, energy healing, alternative medicine, yoga and meditation, group work, etc.). You can also use the learned principles to start practicing with the aim of building your own Sound Healing practice over time.
The focus of Level 1 is on the effects of sound on the human body, mind and energy system. A thorough, in-depth section covering the theoretical principles will provide all the information you need to understand and explain why and how sound is a powerful healing modality. We look at its effects on the nervous system and the energetic structures at a cellular level as well as the mechanics of sound and how it conveys structured information.
The practical part of the training is dedicated to learning how to use sound in the context of individual sessions. These principles can also be applied to group sessions. Specifically, you will learn how to use tuning forks (one of the most accurate tools currently available) and singing bowls. These are basic techniques, very easy to implement and integrate into other practices.
Part of the training will be dedicated to a basic understanding of how to use your own voice for your personal development. In fact, I believe that in order to be an effective Sound Healer, one needs to have a deep, intimate connection to the element of Sound itself. The voice is the ultimate tool to achieve this.
In the intensive weekend you will learn:
- Theory of Sound Healing (Entrainment and Resonance; Sound Propagation and molecular structures; Sound and the Nervous System; - Music and the Brain; Cosmic octaves and overtones; Philosophy of Sound)
- Foundational vocal practices for Self Sound Massage
- Practice with instruments (Tuning Forks and Signing Bowls)
There will be additional home assignments to complete the certification.
WHAT YOU NEED:
No previous experience is required. You will need a basic set of instruments in order to complete the assignments. This includes tuning forks and singing bowls. Please get in touch to receive advice on that.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Simone Vitale is a Sound Healing Teacher & Practitioner and Visionary Musician with a background as a Sound Engineer and Music Producer (20+ years).
Since 2002, he's been dedicated to the deepening of his understanding of the effects and healing potential of sound and music. He started offering sound healing sessions in 2008 and over the following years, he has refined his skills and competence both as a practitioner and teacher. He holds a diploma in Integral Sound Healing with Tuning Forks (UK) and a Vocal Yoga VY Teacher certificate (Auroville, India).
Originally from Rome, Italy, Simone has been sharing his work with both Sound Healing and Music internationally in Italy, Germany, Finland, Estonia, France, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and New Zealand.
Both Online and in person, Simone offers comprehensive programmes covering many aspects of using sound for healing purposes. He is also dedicating his work to promoting an ecology of sound where kindness and mindfulness are the keys to a deeper connection with ourselves and each other.
Simone’s musical creation is multifaceted and includes Healing Music, Music for Pregnancy and Birth, Music of the Plants, Live Music for Yoga and Movement, Kirtan and Devotional Singing... and more.
