Move Into Ease A self fascial-release and somatic awareness workshop
In this workshop you will learn how to access, rehydrate and release myofascial tissue, allowing suppleness and ease of movement to return to areas of tension or disfunction. Using simple Qigong techniques, participants will gain greater body awareness and increased sensation, new insights into injuries and discomfort, as well as ways to release and restore tissues to optimum functionality, without pain or risk of further injury. Drawing from Medical Qigong, Chinese Medicine, Osteopathy and Scientific Stretching, you will find and explore the spirals of your body, your connection to ground, centre and sky, and unlock your potential to heal any aspect of yourself.
Aimed at anyone interested in movement and self treatment, or moving with and towards ease and awareness - dancers, actors, bodyworkers and body therapists, students and teachers of martial arts, qigong, tai chi and yoga.

Tian Quan Gong is a Buddhist qigong practice that has classes in Auckland under the guidance of Qigong masters Dr Sunny Lu and Kerry Castell-Spence. The purpose of Tian Quan Gong is to help people get in touch with the healing energy of the universe for healing and self-realisation.
Kerry Castell-Spence has a passion for service, Qigong and Manual Therapy. He trained at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduating with a Bachelor of Acupuncture, and Diplomas in Qigong and Tuina (Chinese Osteopathy). He then taught there for 10 years. Kerry has also trained with master Osteopaths from New Zealand, The United States and Europe. Kerry has 23 years experience in various Martial arts, and 15 years experience in Qigong and meditation. Kerry is an ACC treatment provider and a Registered Acupuncturist with Acupuncture NZ.
