Jake MUNZ is available for Acutonics and/or Acupuncture treatments on the 13th April at the SOUL clinic.
Each treatment is tailored to the individual after consultation and takes about an hour.
Jake use’s non-invasive body scanning techniques and Classical Five Element pulse-taking to first diagnose and then to continually assess response to treatment so that it may be adjusted as needed.
Acutonics involves the placement of tuning forks on or around the body. Acupuncture is provided by sterile, single use needles.
Jake provides empowered treatments where you are fully listened to, and the diagnosis and treatment plan fully discussed before we begin to treat.
Please wear light, loose clothing to your treatment.
ACCUTONICS
Acutonics is a deeply relaxing and yet incredibly powerful system of vibratory medicine that brings us back into equilibrium by using specially-calibrated tuning forks to stimulate acupuncture points and meridian pathways.
Pioneering work on Planetary Tuning Forks by Swiss mathemetician Hans Cousto has been combined with ancient acupuncture knowledge to provide a needle-free system of treatment that needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated. These forks can easily move us to a deep alpha-brainwave pattern, the super-relaxed yet aware mode where we are most receptive to positive changes in our Qi-state.
The tuning forks we use to work with the points are literally the harmonic resonances of the Universe that surrounds us. For example the base tone of the system is the Earth Year Fork – the orbital period of the Earth around the Sun, 365.24 days raised 49 octaves, which is 132.6 cycles per second. This so happens to be the Ohm tone of so many spiritual traditions, so you will have likely come across it! The effect is instantly relaxing and the Qi dynamic to move Qi down and out, to “ground”.
And that is one treatment I can never give enough of : a deeply-grounding balancing of energetic centres, chakras, with twin Earth forks. That makes sense in our crazy modern world. Simply helping these major centres come back to equilibrium and proper communication with one another in such a beautiful soothing fashion can see a huge range of positive outcomes ranging from better breathing and digestion to relief from anxiety and depression.
This, I believe, is the kind of cutting-edge quantum medicine that will help lead us to a new understanding of who and what we are. How we can be our best selves, in best harmony with the natural world. A new medicine that empowers our incredible ability to self-repair and to find the goodness and the light, even in times of hardship. We do have this within us.

Jacob (Jake) Munz is a Registered Acupuncturist and qualified Acutonics Provider who has practised Qi Gong and Taiqi for thirty-five years.
“Taiqi led me to Qi Gong and then to study Acupuncture and Acutonics. Over twenty years of practicing this system of healthcare has shown me it's remarkable ability to support and help us in every aspect of our lives. In a modern world fixated on treating symptoms of common problems with pharmaceuticals we need this empowerment for real wellbeing more than ever now.”
Jake is a graduate of the Christchurch College of Holistic Healing (2004, N.D.A., Dip. Ac.). He is certified to practice acupuncture by the Chinese Medical Council of New Zealand (CMCNZ) and is a Healthcare Provider for the Accident Compensation Corporation of NZ. He also holds a Batchelors Degree from Victoria University of Wellington (1995, B.A.)4
Drawing from several schools of Acupuncture, diverse skills are combined to provide an advanced treatment approach tailored to the individual. Major influences are Classical Five Element, Charles Chace's Engaging Vitality approach to Qi palpation, and Matt Callinson's system of Motor Points.
These provide a strong framework for diagnosis and the ability to treat very holistically, while advanced palpatory skills are used to continually assess response to treatment.
The Acutonics system of vibratory medicine uses specially calibrated tuning forks to stimulate acupuncture points. This provides another useful dimension to treatment and can be combined with Acupuncture or offers a needle-free alternative for those who might prefer it.
Jake came to practice this medicine through his studies in Oriental philosophy and longstanding interest in Taiqi, Qi Gong and other martial arts. He sees this as a natural progression which has allowed him to more fully express his Way.
